To Tina's Family:
I taught Tina English in her junior year at FTHS and enjoyed her thoroughly. She was insightful, confident in her direction, and a mature voice in the classroom. I saw her again after my retirement when I read stories to children at Barnes and Noble in Howell. She had already gone through her treatments, but she loved her children and had such a good outlook on life. I recently saw that she lost her battle with cancer--and just wanted the family to know what an impact she made on others and how much I admired her as a student then and as a mother/friend now. I am thinking of all of you as we head into the holiday season. Your loss is a shared loss with the community and those who knew her. The pictures you posted captured her spirit.
