Obituary for Alexander Okhotnikoff

Alexander Okhotnikoff, 82, of Monroe Township passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Alexander was born in Bois Colombes, France, raised in Paris, and came to the US in 1958 settling in Brooklyn. He lived and raised his family in the Richmond Hill section of Queens before settling to Monroe Township in 1999. Alexander retired as a Cargo Agent for TWA, Kennedy Airport in 1992. Prior to that, he was a VIP Agent for TWA, BOAC, and Air Italia. Alexander was a Scout Instructor for St. George’s Pathfinders of America. He was a Russian Patriot and had a profound love for his church.
Alexander is survived by his wife of 54 years, May Jehanne Okhotnikoff of Monroe Township; a son, Boris Okhotnikoff of Brewster, NY; three daughters, Masha Okhotnikoff, Alexandra Manak of Plainsboro, NJ and Tatiana Schelbaum and her husband Marc of Princeton; and eight grandchildren, Danielle, Bogdan, Svetlana, Nikita, Michael, Gabriel, Eva and Isabelle.
A Pannyhida will be at St. Alexander Nevsky Russian Orthodox Cathedral, 200 Alexander Avenue, Howell, NJ at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, January 22, 2013. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 10:00 AM funeral service on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at the Cathedral. Interment to follow in St. Vladimir Russian Orthodox Cemetery, 316 Cassville Road, Jackson, NJ. Arrangements by Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township.
