Obituary for Anita Scotto (Johnson)

Anita Scotto, 76, of Howell, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Brandywine at Governor Crossing in Englishtown surrounded by her family. She was born in Neptune, then moved to Howell where she became a lifelong resident. Anita worked as a florist and business owner of the Lakewood Garden Center. She was an active member to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and her life revolved around her family.
Anita was predeceased by her husband, Michael J. Scotto, Sr. in 1999 and her daughter, Anita Christine Nielson in 2013. She is survived by her three children, Michael Scotto and his wife Michell, of Howell, Arthur Scotto and his wife Tina, of Fredericksburg, VA, and Catherine Ann Wittman and her husband Joseph, of East Windsor; a son-in-law, Darren Nielson of Howell; 12 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Maplewood Cemetery, 169 W Main Street, Freehold, NJ 07728.
