Condolence: Dear Terri, Girls and Family,
Tom was known by John for over 30 years, a good 30 plus years. Tom was a Special friend to John always, a good, kind and fun man to be around. Always there to help with good advice. I was fortunate to get to know Tom and Terri and their beautiful girls through the years, spending many good times with them at holidays and parties. We were always treated like family. Tom was special, an example, at my 50th surprise birthday party, Tom knew I liked the huge cake from Harold's Deli, he convinced John to get it for me. so Tom and Terri ran and picked it up before my party to see me laugh. Things like that made Tom a special friend and caring man, he was truly thoughtful. We have moved across the country about 7 years ago, but John kept in touch with Tom and always thought of him, they spoke every so often. When we'd come back East, Tom was always on John's list of whom to see, even if at work for an hour. The news of Tom's illness was a shock and heartbreaking to us both, but Tom was always so positive whenever John and Tom would talk. He was a strong man and a true fighter for his family.
Terri, we are so sorry for your loss, Tom will sorely be missed by us and everyone whose life Tom touched, he had that effect about himself. Girls, your Dad was a very special man, and no matter what, you were lucky to have such a wonderful, loving father. Keep all of the good memories in your heart, as both John and I have always done, that is what Tom would want us to do!
May GOD Bless all of you and we are very fortunate to have known such a Special Man and his Family.
Rest in Peace, My Friend!
Love, John and Eileen
