Patricia J.  McCormick (Noonan)
Patricia J. McCormick, 83, of Freehold Township passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, February 27, 2017 at Manor by the Sea, Ocean Grove. Patricia was born in Red Bank, raised in Rumson and had lived in Middletown and Port St. Lucie, FL before moving to Freehold Twp. in 1999. She had worked for Fort Monmouth, Happy Hour Nursery School, and Monmouth University. Patricia was a cat lover and was very crafty with her knitting and crocheting. She had an eye for photography and was a devoted wife, mother, grammy and great grammy.
Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Alan W. McCormick; a brother, John “Putt” Noonan, Jr.; and a sister, Elna Robinson. She is survived by her four sons, David A. McCormick and his wife, Maureen of Hackensack, Keith J. McCormick and his wife, Denise of Howell, Paul H. McCormick of Freehold and Patrick T. McCormick and his wife, Sheila of Farmingdale; seven grandchildren, Katheryn Rudisill and her husband, Gary, Patrick McCormick and his wife, Jillian, Nicholas McCormick, Alexander McCormick, Kelly McCormick, Bridget McCormick, and Casey McCormick; two great grandchildren, Drake and Jack.
A gathering will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 9:30 AM Funeral Mass on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the Church of St. Veronica, 4215 Route 9 North, Howell. Inurnment will follow in Holmdel Cemetery, Holmdel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Patricia’s name may be made to the Monmouth County SPCA, 260 Wall Street, Eatontown, NJ 07724.
