Obituary for Paul Liali

Paul  Liali
Paul Liali, 58, of Old Bridge passed away on Monday, February 13, 2017 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, he lived in Red Bank and Oceanport before moving to Old Bridge in 2012. Paul worked in the Department of Public Works for the Borough of Red Bank for over 25 years. Known as a “Jack of all trades,” he most recently worked at the Senior Center, and previously in Sanitation and Parks and Recreations. Paul was a volunteer fire fighter for Independent Engine Company 93, Red Bank since 1992. He was devoted life-long fan of the New York Jets and Mets. Never known to complain, Paul was a special man with a big heart. He will be remembered as a loving family man with a sense of humor who always had a smile on his face.
Paul is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Stanzione and her husband, Michael of Old Bridge, and Christina Liali and Michael McGowan, Jr. of Asbury Park; two grandchildren, Olivia and Michael, III, with one on the way; parents, Vincent and Julia Liali of Freehold; three sisters, Connie Natale of Red Bank, Terry Welsher and her husband, Paul of Monroe, and Joanne Rofrano and her husband, Joseph of Old Bridge; a special cousin, Marie Rogan and Bob of Freehold; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 9:00 AM for the procession to his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township.
