Condolence: Grandpa has been a fixture in my life for 38 years and it's hard to imagine what my life will be like without him in it, especially now that both he and Grandma are gone. We have all loved him so much, and enjoyed our time talking with him and eating at Perkins together and reviewing the family tree. His love for Grandma is what stands out the most, and his utter devotion to bringing her home and keeping her there were nothing short of amazing. You lived a long life that impacted many people, Grandpa, and you've left a vast legacy. You will be very missed. We love you!

Condolence: Dad:
You were brave as you made the last steps in your journey to Heaven to be with Mommy. You went through hospitalization and rehab. You were trying to return home permanently, but your body was tired so you had to enter the hospital again...but you didn't complain. - You and Mommy had a special love. You shared 69 years of marriage in our home on Georgia Tavern Road. You were blessed with 3 daughters, 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren who loved you. After Mommy went to Heaven, you filled your time with visits and telephone conversations with your family and learning to use and enjoy your Tablet. I enjoyed shopping with you at BJs, Walmart and Stop and Shop...you would toss your cane into a grocery card and then move so quickly as you leaned on the cart that I had to work hard to keep up with you! But your body finally "wore out" and you knew it was time to be with Mommy again. We miss you and Mommy every day! You both will always be remembered and loved! Love, Judy

Condolence: Dad - I love you very much. Since Mom died we had a standing date for Friday night dinner which I will miss so much. You were a wonderful dad always wanting to help. As Mom wrote in a note to me, "Your father loves you and he has been a good father. You always treated him with respect. He tries to help everyone." I want to thank you for being a loving father, father-in-law to Alan who so enjoyed your conversations, Grandpa to Joe and Michelle who love you so much, and Pop-pop to Alex, Alanna and especially Ayden. But now you have fought the good fight, finished the race, kept the faith and received your reward of being reunited with Mom. But even though you said, "Don't be sad, I'm going to be with your Mother", I will always miss our Friday night dinners...Love you, Nancy

Condolence: How do you sum up 94 years of life? That’s a lot of birthday parties, holidays, troubles and joys. Each day is unique yet the same in our routines and we look back and look ahead and hopefully enjoy the now. When the end comes it is always too soon as the human spirit always bears hope. Ray was strong and determined, right to the end. He kept his mind sharp with crossword puzzles and baseball stats and handled his finances, kept the household running, and drove to stores and doctor visits. He was devoted to the grand-kids and great-grand-kids and always remembered their birthdays. His Irish showed in his ability to weave stories culled from his life’s path. He was frugal yet generous to a fault. He served his country selflessly and is among the last of America’s greatest generation. He was devoted completely to his wife of 69 years, Diddie, and that is something to be proud of, also. Three strong and beautiful daughters will continue his legacy, another source of pride. He was a father to me since mine passed away 38 years ago, and I am ever thankful for that. Rest in peace, the Lord’s blessings on you always.

Condolence: Sadly, I only knew Pop- Pop for eleven years. But those eleven years, I learned many things from him, which I could never forget. He was a wise, funny, and awesome great-grandpa! He is strongly missed by everyone, especially me.

Condolence: Grandpa, you will be missed and you will ALWAYS be loved. You were our last link to our prior generation, and for that I am saddened. Sad because you and Grandma always pulled our family together, but I am so proud, and confident, that the role model you set for us (especially during these last 14 months which were so difficult for you since Grandma passed) will keep our family strong and your stories will live on and continue to grow. I am glad you are at peace, and that you are now with your Love in Heaven. Savor and Smile Grandpa, and remember that we will always love you and that you (and Grandma) will be thought of often. Thanks for all the Memories, Love - Jennifer

Condolence: I am going to miss my long conversations with Grandpa. The conversations ranged from his experiences in Panama during WWII to who was pitching for the NY Mets. I am going to miss our talks on how I can be a better husband, father most importantly how to be a better person.
I never knew my grandparents, they had passed away before I had a chance to know them. I was blessed to meet Jennifer so I could experience how great it is to have a Grandmother and Grandfather.
Raymond Green has left an indelible impact on my life and I am blessed to have known him and look forward to seeing him again one day.
Love you Grandpa!!

Condolence: Love and prayers to all your family. I have many happy memories of time spent with both Ray and Diddie, my "second parents". Remembering wonderful picnics at Rockefeller Park, barbques at our homes, and visits to each other's house many, many times. My thoughts are with all of you now.
Love, Lin
