Jodiann Hauerslev, 50, of South Toms River passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born and raised in Queens, Jodiann moved to New Jersey in 2002. She worked in sales at Sam’s Club, Freehold and was a member of Howell Lanes Bowling Club. Jodiann enjoyed fishing, gardening and crafts. She will be remembered as a caring and selfless person who would help the fly she would never harm.
She was predeceased by her mother, Elizabeth Sciortino. Jodiann is survived by her husband of 10 years, Ken Hauerslev of South Toms River; three siblings, Joseph Sciortino and his wife, Helen of Tamarac, FL, James Sciortino and his wife, Christine of Hauppauge, NY, and Susan Campagnola and her husband, Vincent of Howell; nieces and nephews, Gina Campagnola, Vincent Campagnola, Nicole Campagnola, James Sciortino, Jr., John Sciortino and Christopher Sciortino; and her faithful canine companions, Charlie, Dubs, Fluffy and Miss Piggy.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 10:00 AM for procession to her graveside service in St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery & Mausoleum, 1 Honey Locust Avenue, Lakewood.
