Andrew W.  Reid
Andrew W. Reid, 53, of Freehold Township passed away on Thursday, June2, 2016 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Andy was born in Denville, grew up in Glen Rock, and lived in Old Bridge before settling here in 1997. Andy was proud of the fact that he earned his Master’s Degree at Stevens Institute of Technology taking evening and summer classes and achieved a 4.0 GPA. He will be fondly remembered by all of his friends at K. Hovnanian where he worked in various positions for 21 years, most recently as the VP of Software Development. At the time of his passing, he was working as a Project Manager for Covance in Princeton. Andy was an avid Yankee and Giant fan as well as a devoted family man.
Surviving are his loving wife of 27 years, Patricia A. Reid; two sons, Alexander P. Reid and Phillip M. Reid; four sisters, Eileen, Nancy, Janice and Margaret; and one brother, William.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, June 6, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 8:30 PM with his funeral service to follow at 8:30 PM.
