Joseph F. Price, Sr., 80, of Howell Township passed away peacefully at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center, New Brunswick on Sunday, March 29, 2016. Joseph was born, raised, and had lived in Freehold and then moved to Howell in 1988. He was a graduate of Trenton Catholic High School. Joseph completed his education serving his country as a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1956 to 1959. He was employed for 33 years by IBM, Dayton, NJ retiring in 1991 as a coordinator. Joseph then went to work for Tascor until 1994. He was an avid Nascar Fan and enjoyed the races at Wall Stadium. As a sports enthusiast, Joseph was a fan of the Yankees and the Giants and enjoyed going to watch the Blue Claws play. He had a green thumb in the garden and loved his “Cars”.
Joseph was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Loretta Price; two brothers, John and William Price; and a sister, Mary Oliver. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia; three children, Darlene Skidmore, Joseph Price, Jr., and Roxanne Price; a stepdaughter, Sandra Seaman; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Sally Price.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM with his funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery, Freehold. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Joseph’s name may be made to either the American Heart Association, P. O.
