Obituary for Grace Elizabeth Treubert (Kelly)

Grace Elizabeth Treubert (Kelly)
Grace Elizabeth Treubert, 71, of Jackson Township passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 21, 2016. Grace made her living as a bank officer for Amboy Bank from 1977 until her retirement in 2003, but lived her life as an adventurer along side her husband, Bill. Together they traveled the world; riding camels in Egypt, sailing the seas on over 80 cruises, even a “mis” adventure in which Grace found herself accidentally riding down the 120 ft. Leap of Faith water slide at the Power Towers in Atlantis. An avid reader, Grace possessed a diverse and impressive collection of E-books on her Kindle which she read every night, sometimes to prepare for date night at the movies on Tuesday nights. All the beautiful sights of the world paled in comparison to the pride she felt for her sons, grandchildren and all of their accomplishments.
Grace is survived by her husband of 51 years, William Treubert of Jackson Township; two sons, William Treubert, III of Goodyear, AZ and Christopher Treubert and his wife, Stephanie of Freehold Township; and grandchildren, Austin, Tyler, Alexa, Brenna, Keely Rose.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Wednesday May 25, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Thursday May 26, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM on Friday May 27, 2016 at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, East Brunswick. For information, directions, or condolence messages to the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com.
