Obituary for Harry P. "Phil" Weaver

Harry Philip “Phil” Weaver, 68, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on May 16, 2016 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Harry “Phil” is predeceased by his parents Harry and Mary. He is survived by his devoted wife Patricia Weaver (nee Giaquinto), loving stepson, Michael Iorio, sisters-in-law, Kathy and Mary Ellen; brother-in-law David; niece, Amanda; nephew, Luke; and his four-legged companion, Sampson. Phil was born on September 21, 1947 in Irvington, NJ to parents, Harry Leon Weaver and Mary Catherine Weaver (nee Heibler). He graduated from Neptune High School, Ocean County Community College, and Monmouth University. After working for many years in accounting, Phil retired from IT Corp. A lover of the casino, fishing, traveling and sports, he enjoyed spending time out on the boat, adventuring to new places with his beloved wife and watching the latest college game. Phil’s wife, Pat, would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the medical staff at Jersey Shore University Medical Center for all their hard work, dedication and support through this difficult time. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial gathering at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township from 3:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, May 20, 2016 with his memorial service at 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Phil’s name may be made to the American Heart Association, One Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691 or the Monmouth County SPCA, 260 Wall Street, Eatontown, NJ 07724.
