George "Ury"  Kavoleff
George Kavoleff, 68, of Howell Township passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. George was born in Austria and came to United States in 1949 and settled in Howell. He was retired as carpenter for Local 1006, working out of the Newark hall. George was a loving father and devoted grandfather.
George was predeceased by his parents, Ivan and Antonia Kavoleff. He is survived by his three daughters, Kim Kowaljow of Howell, Kelly Kowaljow and her fiancé, Thomas Terrell of Howell, and Laura Bermudez and her husband, Michael of Houston, TX; five grandchildren, Kyle George Kowaljow, Karley Anne Terrell, Tyler Joseph Bermudez, Ariell Theresa Bermudez, and Jonathan Joel Bermudez; his former wife, Theresa Rice; three brothers; two sisters; a brother-in-law, Anatol Posidelow; a sister-in-law, Galina Tkacenko; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A pannyhida will be held at St. George’s Russian Orthodox Church, 57 East Third Street, Howell on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 6:30 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 9:30 AM funeral service on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at St. George’s Russian Orthodox Church. Interment will follow in St. Vladimir Russian Orthodox Cemetery, Jackson. The arrangements are under the direction of the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township.
