Gina M. Forte, 43, of Freehold Township passed away peacefully on Friday, November 13, 2015 surrounded by her loving family at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch following a long illness.
Gina left to join her paternal grandparents, Carmine and Addaloratta Forte, her maternal grandparents, Michael and Millie San Filippo, and Jesus in Heaven.
Gina is survived by her devoted parents, Patsy and Francine Forte who showered her with everlasting love and her caring brother, John.
She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Angie Forte, Fred and Anna Valentino, Mario and Christine Arcaro, Mario and Patricia Forte, Mary Joan Finaldi, Philip and Terry San Filippo and many cousins, friends and neighbors, who loved her and her special smile.
Gina was born in East Orange and had lived in Freehold Township for the last 20 years while she participated in the Work Opportunity Center of Long Branch sponsored by the Arc of Monmouth. She attended their dances where she could also express her love of music to the songs of her favorite artists, whose words she knew by heart.
Most of all Gina was a “Gift” to her entire family, her friends and neighbors who found joy in her gentle smile and her bubbly personality. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her including her best friend her black dog, Tiffany.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 9:00 AM for the procession to her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 16 McLean Street, Freehold.
