Elizabeth May  Eckner
Elizabeth May Eckner, 62, of Philadelphia (formerly of Lakewood) passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Betsy was born in Teaneck, was raised in Ridgefield Park and had lived in Freehold, Wall, and Lakewood before moving to Philadelphia in 2007. She was a homemaker and worked as a home health aide for VNA of Central Jersey and private companion for 20 years.
Betsy is survived by her son, Theodore Blado and his girlfriend, Denise Turner of Philadelphia; a sister Mary Nemec and her husband, Bill of Milford; four brothers, John Eckner and his wife, Jean of Boston, MA, James Eckner and his wife, Irene of Mandeville, LA, George Eckner and his wife, Mary of NY, and Timothy Eckner and his wife, Anne of FL; six nieces; one nephew; three great nieces; and five great nephews.
Memorial gathering at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, March 10, 2013 from noon to 3:00 PM.
