Obituary for Kenneth William Olivarius

Kenneth William  Olivarius
Kenneth William Olivarius, 87, of Jackson passed away on Monday, March 12, 2012. Kenneth was born and raised in Brooklyn and had lived in Park Ridge, Harrington Park and Old Tappan before settling to Jackson in 2008. He was a 1942 graduate of Brooklyn Technical High School and received his Bachelors’ degree from St. Johns University. Kenneth was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving as a radar man in the Pacific Theater during World War II. After returning from the war, Kenneth met and married the love of his life, Ann Beckley and together raised their family in Park Ridge. He was the owner and president of Olivarius and Associates until retiring in 2008. Prior to that, Kenneth had a successful career as a national sales manager for General Foods, Manhattan Sales Co., and Duralight Lamps before starting his own company in 1977.
Kenneth was predeceased by his wife, Ann Marie (nee Beckley) Olivarius in 1999 and a son, Kenneth William Olivarius, Jr. in 1956. He is survived by his five daughters, Ann McAllister Olivarius and her husband, Jef McAllister of London, UK, MaryPat Olivarius Imlah of Ashburn, Virginia, Noel Olivarius of Freehold Township, Christine D’Amico and her husband, Tracy of Wall Township, and Kathi Ali’varius and her husband, Raz of Mesa, Arizona; twelve grandchildren, Casey, Kathryn, Jack, Christopher, Jamie, Meghan, Kenny, Justin, Danielle, Ben, Chad, and Joey; and two great grandchildren, Anthony and Kayla.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 10:30 AM Funeral Mass on Monday, March 19, 2012 at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, 120 Monroe Avenue, Cresskill, NJ 07626. Inurnment will follow in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, 8001 Metropolitan Avenue, Flushing, NY 11379.
