Kenneth Robert "Kenny"  Surick Sr.
Kenneth Robert Surick, Sr., 64, of Howell passed away at home on Sunday, August 27, 2017. Kenny was born in Elizabeth and raised in Carteret before moving to Howell in 1986. He was a diesel mechanic for Grocery Hauler / Paul’s Trucking, Avenel for 38 years. In his retirement, he enjoyed working at Suneagles Golf Course, Eatontown. Kenny bowled two days a week at Ocean Lanes and had succeeded in bowling three perfect games. His hobbies included fishing, skiing, and spending time at the beach or in Atlantic City. Kenny treasured his family and children above all else.
He was predeceased by his wife, Eileen Surick; his mother, Jeanette Surick; and his stepfather, Michael Rinaldi. Kenny is survived by his son, Kenneth Surick, Jr. and his wife, Rachel of Jackson; his twins, Anne Rieg and her husband, Jason of Belmar, and Daniel Surick and his girlfriend, Adriana Alarcon of Howell; sister, Karen Surick and her partner, Jane Locrotondo of Ocean; twin brother, Teddy Surick and his wife, Lois of Carteret; brother, Kevin Surick of Howell; his partner of 14 years, Eileen Ciambotti of Eatontown; stepchildren, Frank Ciambotti and his wife, Nena, Kelly Emerson and her husband, Jason, and John Ciambotti; five grandchildren, Casey Ciambotti, Colby Ciambotti, Bella Emerson, Jason Emerson and Julianna Emerson;
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 3:00 to 6:30 PM with his funeral service to follow at 6:30 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Kenny’s name may be made to American Cancer Society, 2310 Route 34, Suite 1D, Manasquan, NJ 08736.
