Arthur A. "Butchie" Bitz
Arthur A. “Butchie” Bitz, 73, of Farmingdale passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Coral Harbor Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Neptune City. He was born in Brooklyn and was a lifelong Farmingdale resident. Butchie was a United States Navy veteran during the Vietnam War.
He was predeceased by his father, Arthur Bitz; step-father, George Steinecke; and aunt, Monya Kruse. Butchie is survived by his mother, Helen Steinecke of Farmingdale; aunt, June Hankel of Farmingdale; and his cousins, Maryann Cullen of Freehold and Patricia LaCoste of Lake Como.
