The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Wesley Bailey can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Ma Fama and Wes

I remembered the first time Wes tasted my mother's food was at our independence day celebration in Trenton at father Rico's field. He had to go back and ordered two of everything .After that he took her number and address and told her no one will ever cook his cassava leaves and torborgee again, that promised he kept.Every time when he was about to have a cookout or a party ,he would make sure to called my mom weeks in advance because Wes loved his stomach he would tell my mom what all he wanted in his pot.lol!   remembered Eric and I going to his home for one of his many parties and he was telling us about Mrs.Barclay's African food and how well she could cook his cassava leaves and torborgee when I told him that she was my mom he was like now I see why your husband's stomach is so big he be eating all that good food.He was a friend and brother to all who knew him,my husband and Wes could just sit and talked about stories from their Ricks days. Wes we loved you ,but,God needed an angel and that is why He called you home.In closing I know ma Fama will be waiting to cook your cassava leaves and torborgee when she sees you. Love always Pinky .Bemah.Goll
