Anthony Napoli, 73, of Jackson passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Bartley Healthcare Rehabilitation, Jackson. He was born and raised in the Bronx, New York and had moved to Middletown to raise his family before settling in Jackson in 2007. Anthony was a member of the New York Stock Exchange for over thirty-five years, retiring in 2003. He was a family man; great husband and father, devoted Pop, and a good friend to all. Anthony was kind and modest, always extending his generosity to everyone he met.
Anthony is survived by his wife, Diane Napoli of Jackson; children, Donna Velasco of Matawan, Lisa Testa and her husband, Anthony of Matawan, and John Napoli of Aberdeen; sisters, Elizabeth Barry and her husband, James of Brick, and Augusta Lombardi and her husband Lewis, of Jackson Lucille Bosnabk and her husband Bob of Holbrook,NY; brother, Joseph Napoli of Seaside Heights; grandchildren, Alicia Velasco, Hailey Testa, Arianna Velasco, Autumn Velasco, and Christian Testa; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was predeceased by his son-in-law, David Velasco in 2014.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, July 30, 2017 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass on Monday, July 31, 2017 at the Co-Cathedral Of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold. Entombment will follow in Marlboro Memorial Cemetery & Mausoleum, 361 Hwy 79, Morganville. For those who desire, contributions may be made in Anthony’s name to St. Jude Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
