William Arthur  Schadler
William “Bill” Schadler, 94, of Freehold Township entered into rest on Saturday, July 22, 2017. Mr. Schadler was born in Freehold on November 3, 1922 and lived there his entire life. A former employee of the New Jersey school system, he spent his retirement years working in the yard, growing flowers and enjoying the company of friends and neighbors. His big smile and generous nature will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Schadler and Carrie Ely Soden Schadler, and his sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Lane. He is survived by three nephews, Kenneth E. Lane of New Port Richey, FL, James W. Lane, Jr. of New Port Richey, FL, and Robert Lane of Warner Robins, GA.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, July 28, 2017 from 9:00 to 9:30 AM with his 9:30 AM funeral service to follow at the funeral home.
