Obituary for Vivian M. Davison

Vivian M. Davison, 86, of Adelphia, passed away at Brandywine at Howell on Wednesday, July 19, 2017. She was born in Freehold Borough Hospital and was a lifelong resident of Adelphia. Vivian was a school bus driver for 25 dedicated years for the Howell Township Board of Education. She was a member of the Adelphia Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary for over 65 years.

She was predeceased by her husband, Kingsley Davison in 2014. Vivian is survived by her children, Kingsley Davison and his wife, Irene of Jackson, Ernest Davison and his companion, Barbara of Howell, James T. Davison and his wife, Linda of Jackson, and Kathy A. Tanay and her husband, Keith of Howell; two granddaughters, Theresa Kemp of Easthampton and Suzanne Gaylord of Pt. Pleasant; great grandson, Tyler Lawrence Kemp; two sisters, Doris Mele of Freehold and Pearl DeBow of Lewes, Delaware.

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Friday, July 21, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the funeral home on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Vivian’s name may be made to the Adelphia Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, 993 NJ-33, Freehold, NJ 07728.
