Janice Bliss, 65, of Howell, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017 at Bartley Health Care Nursing and Rehabilitation, Jackson. She was born in Neptune, raised in Farmingdale, and had lived in Howell. Janice worked as a clerk for Howell Township for over 30 years. She began her career in the Finance Department and retired from the Tax Assessor’s office in 2011. Janice enjoyed tending to her garden, playing bingo, trips to Atlantic City, and had a passion for I Love Lucy.

Janice was predeceased by her daughter, Danielle L. Bliss and her sister, Sandra Haller. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Robert Bliss of Howell; sisters, Linda Williams of Howell and Wendy Weimer of Myrtle Beach, SC; and many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, July 21, 2017 from 3:00 to 6:30 PM with her funeral service to follow at 6:30 PM.
