Obituary for Maxwell Witkowski

Maxwell Witkowski
Maxwell “Max” Witkowski, 19, passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 9, 2017 in Piscataway. He was a graduate of the Marine Academy of Technology and Environmental Science Class of 2016 where he was inducted into the National Honor Society. He continued his education at the Honors College at Rutgers University. Max was the President of the Teen Advisory Board at Plumsted Library and a volunteer at the New Brunswick Library where he taught adults to use computers. A skilled pianist, he loved music and books, Harry Potter and Pokemon, and had earned his black belt in martial arts. Max was an inspiration during his too short life and his absence will leave a void that cannot be filled.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Florence Witkowski. He is survived by his parents, James and Robin Witkowski of New Egypt; brother, Jon Witkowski of New Egypt; maternal grandparents, Susan and David Weisenberg of Howell; paternal grandfather, Robert Witkowski of Lakewood; and his loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial gathering on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. For information, directions or condolence messages to the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com
