Obituary for Vincent LoBianco

Vincent LoBianco, 85, of Manalapan passed away unexpectedly on June 11, 2017 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in Melicucca, Province Calabria, Italy and came to the United States in 1962. Vincent lived in Brooklyn before moving to Freehold Township, and eventually settled in Manalapan in 2005. Vincent worked as a plumber with Local Union #1 in New York City for Lafata Plumbing & Heating, retiring in 1990. A parishioner of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, he donated to the community, and enjoyed working in his garden on his flowers, his wine, dancing and trips to Atlantic City. Well-known in the community, and well loved, Vincent was a gentle yet powerful presence who always had a smile on his face. His biggest joy was his family, and they will be forever grateful that he had a life well-spent with them.
Vincent was predeceased by his three brothers, Giuseppe “Jimmy” LoBianco, Rocco LoBianco, and Domenico LoBianco and two sisters Angelina D’Anna and Annunzita Cassarino. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Rosaria LoBiano; his children, Vivian Manginelli and her husband, Frank of Monroe, Vincent LoBianco and his wife, Michele of Marlboro, and Dominick LoBianco of Manalapan; six granddaughters Antoinette Salmeri and her husband, Anthony of Manalapan, Rosaria Sanchez and her husband, Frank of Jackson, Josephine Mezzasalma and her husband, Anthony of Aberdeen, Madine Alanya and her husband, Pedro of Howell, Hannah LoBianco of Marlboro, and Monique LoBianco of Marlboro; and four great grandchildren Gabriella, Alessia, John Frank, and Brandon.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at St. Thomas More Church, 186 Gordons Corner Road, Manalapan. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Jamesburg.
