Mary Johnston Dolce, of Howell Township passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017. Mary was born in Scotland and moved to the United States in 1957. She lived in Rahway for many years and moved to Howell in 2000.
Mary had a career with the Postal Service in Scotland and worked for Siemens Medical Systems in Edison. After retiring, Mary became a volunteer at Rahway Hospital and contributed more than 5,000 hours of her time serving others. Upon moving to Howell, she again became a volunteer, this time at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold Township. She volunteered there for 14 years. Mary was an active member of the Freehold Township Senior Center where she made many new friends. She enjoyed all the amenities of living near the Jersey Shore, was an avid reader and loved to exercise.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Denise Johnston, of Jackson; and her son, John Johnston of North Carolina.
