Steven Albert Morreale
Steven Albert Morreale, 30, of Jackson, formerly of Freehold passed away at home on Wednesday, April 26, 2017. Steven was born in Brooklyn and moved to Freehold Township with his family when he was 8 years old. Steven was a graduate of Freehold Borough High School Class of 2005 where he was a four year member of the Colonials Varsity baseball team, and eventually received a Division I scholarship to LIU in Brooklyn. An enthusiastic Yankees fan, he will be remembered for his love of baseball, quick wit, warm smile, and his never-ending love of his maternal grandparents who predeceased him.
Steven is survived by his loving parents, Peter and Jayne Morreale of Jackson; sister, Maria Ronayne and her husband, James of Clearwater, FL; maternal aunt, Carol Ann Salcito and her husband, Lou of Moneta, VA; and many cousins.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, April 30, 2017 from 1:00 to 4:30 PM with his funeral service to follow. Interment will be private. For those who desire, memorial contributions in Steven’s memory may be made to Special Olympics, 1 Eunice Kennedy Shriver Way, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
