Albert M. Venezia, 81, of Freehold, passed away at home on Saturday, April 15, 2017. He was born in Jersey City and had lived in Kearney before moving to Freehold in 1998. He worked as the General Manager for Bellavia Buick in East Rutherford until retiring in 2002.
Albert was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Clara (DiBartholomeo) Venezia, and a daughter, Pattie Morgan, who passed away on March 29th of this year. He is survived by his wife, Virginia (nee Danker); two sons, Albert “Albie” Venezia of Virginia Beach, VA, and Jonathan Venezia of Kenilworth; one daughter, Donna Lamond of Nutley; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Carl Venezia of Woodland Park.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold, on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home at 8:45 AM on Thursday, April 20, 2017, for the procession to his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 16 McLean Street, Freehold.
