Obituary for Ronald M. "Ron" Johnson Jr.
Ronald M. “Ron” Johnson, Jr., of Howell passed away at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, on Wednesday, April 5, 2017. He was born in Freehold, and was raised in Manchester before moving to Howell in 2001. Ron was an auto mechanic at Pep Boys in Howell for 8 years. A football lover, Ron was an avid Giants fan and could never get enough of the game. He could be found every weekend during soccer season standing on the sidelines cheering for his daughter Paige. He was a dedicated husband and father.
Ron was predeceased by his mother Sandra Collins in 2009. He is survived by his wife, Brianne Johnson of Howell, his daughter, Paige, also of Howell; his father, Ronald M. Johnson, Sr. of Arizona; his sister, Laura Johnson of Brick, and his niece, Natalie Johnson of Brick.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia (Route 524) Freehold Township on Thursday April 13, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 8:30 PM, with his memorial service to follow at 8:30 PM. Interment will be private. Memorial contribution in Ron’s name may be made to the Monmouth County SPCA, 260 Wall St., Eatontown, NJ 07724.
