Stephen  A. "Steve"  LeGrand
Stephen A. “Steve” LeGrand, 57, of Tinton Falls passed away at home on Monday, April 3, 2017. He was born and raised in Plainfield and had lived in Farmingdale before settling in Tinton Falls in 2015. A graduate of the Wardlaw-Hartridge School in Edison, he was a three-time state prep medalist in wrestling. After high school, he attended Stockton University, where he studied communications. Steve was a long-time antique furniture restorer and had also worked at the Howell Shop-Rite for the past two years. A true Rolling Stones fan, Steve enjoyed sports, fishing and had a talent for wood working.

Steve was predeceased by his father Jacques LeGrand in 1985 and his Step-Father Col. Dean E. Wright in 2016. He is survived by his Mother, Annette Wright of Tinton Falls; His brother Paul and his wife Arlene LeGrand of Plainfield, His sister Therese and her husband Richard Danek of Newtown, PA, His sister Janine Casey and her husband Thomas of Clinton, His Brother Charles and his partner Emma Bee of Plainfield, His Brother Dean E. Wright III and his wife Karina of Azalea, Fl, and sister Jennifer Haberstick and her husband Michael of Belmar and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia (Route 524) Freehold Township on Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 1:00-5:00 PM. Interment will be private. Memorial contribution in Stephen’s name may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church.
