Obituary for Elizabeth M. White

Elizabeth M. White, 81, of Jackson passed away at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township on Monday, April 3, 2017. Betty was born and raised in Newark, and had lived in Key West, FL, Chatham and Mine Hill before moving to Jackson in 2015. She was an Executive Secretary to the Vice President of Drew University, Madison and Executive Secretary to the Township Manager of Randolph Township. Some of her hobbies included hiking and the butterfly group of Morris County. She enjoyed classical music and going to concerts. Betty was a member of the YMCA and a secretary for AARP.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward White in 1981. Betty is survived by her children, Maureen Gunes and her husband, Enis of Freehold Township, and Thomas White and his wife, Suze of Glen Allen, VA; grandchildren, Aylin Gunes, Patrick White and his wife, Emilie, Kathryn White and Emily White; and her great granddaughter, Annie White.
