Obituary for Else W. Lake

Else W. Lake, 87, of Howell passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at CareOne at Jackson. She was born in Nuremberg, Germany and moved to the United States at the age of 18. In Else’s spare time, she loved to sew and read. She was also very fond of animals, especially cats.
Else is survived by her husband of 64 years, Alfred Lake of Howell.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM with her funeral service to follow at 5:00 PM. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions in Else’s name may be made to the Monmouth County SPCA, 260 Wall Street, Eatontown, NJ 07724 or the Popcorn Park Zoo, 1 Humane Way, Forked River, NJ 08731.
