Walter T. Compton, 36, of Howell passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, February 24, 2017. Walt was born in New Brunswick, raised in Spotswood and settled in Howell in 2000. A carpenter by trade, Walt was a very smart man who enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing.
He is survived by his mother, Yvonne Compton of Howell, whom he loved more than anything.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon with his funeral service to follow at Noon. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Howell. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.
