Kenneth P. Jeanneret, 59, of Howell passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 11, 2017 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born and raised in East Orange. Ken graduated from Essex Catholic High School, where he ran cross country track, played football, and wrestled. He then proudly served our country as a paratrooper in the elite 82nd Airborne Division of the United States Army stationed in Ft. Bragg, N.C. Ken later became a telecommunications consultant for Prudential Insurance for over 20 years. A sports enthusiast, he enjoyed attending every sporting event his daughter participated in, as well as watching football and Nascar racing. He was an avid Giants fan.
Ken was a kind and fun-loving man who truly loved his country, loved his pets, but above all else loved his family. Ken will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by loving his wife of thirty-four years, Michele Jeanneret of Howell; his cherished daughter, Danielle Dalfonzo and her husband, Anthony of Freehold.
A Gathering of Friends will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton Adelphia Road, Freehold. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Mass on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 9:30 AM at the Church of St. Veronica, 4215 Route 9 North, Howell. Interment will be private. For those who desire, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
