Grace M. Jones, 90, of Wall Township passed away at home on Friday, February 10, 2017. Born and raised in Farmingdale, she lived in Howell before moving to Wall in 1973. She worked as the bookkeeper for Lab Volt Systems, Inc., formerly named Buck Engineering in Wall for 32 years until her retirement in 1995. Grace was full of life, attending country club dances in Hightstown three nights a week and bowling for her company league. She enjoyed playing Bingo, doing word searches, cooking mac & cheese and baking special birthday cakes for her co-workers.
She was predeceased by her companion, Charles Surowka in 1988. Grace is survived by her two children, Calvin Jones of Wall Township, and Gracie Harvey of West Belmar; and four grandchildren, DJ Harvey, Ryan Harvey, Shannon Harvey and Sandy Harvey.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 11:00 AM graveside service in Evergreen Cemetery, Route 524 & West Farms Road, Howell.
