Obituary for Norman R. Thompson

Norman R. Thompson, 68, of Manalapan passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center, New Brunswick. Norman was born in New Brunswick and raised in Miami before settling in Manalapan in 1988. He was an enthusiastic New York Yankees and Miami Dolphins fan. He also loved vintage cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles.
Norman is survived by his wife of 34 years, Judith Thompson of Manalapan; sons, Richard Thompson and his wife, LaChelle of Manalapan and Bryan Thompson and his fiancée, Morgan Carlsen of Plainsboro; and two half brothers, Edward Rowe and Michael Rowe.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, January 30, 2017 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 10:00 AM funeral service on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Old Tennent Cemetery, Manalapan.
