Obituary for Peter F Downes

Peter F. Downes, 63, of Howell, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 at his residence. He was born and raised in Jersey City then moved to Howell nine years ago. He worked as a mechanic for Hudson County Motors. In his spare time he loved fishing and took pleasure in working on his neighbors cars.
Peter is predeceased by his wife Michele L. Downes in 2011. He is survived by his children, Trisha Greco and her husband Patrick, of Howell, and Pete Downes and his wife Kathleen, of Colonia; five grandchildren, Nicole, Ashley, Emma, Grace, and Claire; and one dear nephew, Shane Pelaske.
All arrangements are private and under the direction of the Clayon & McGirr Funeral Home.
