Maria Indelicato, 85, of Jackson Township passed away at home on Sunday, January 8, 2017. Born and raised in New York, she had lived in Brooklyn before moving to Jackson Township in 2000. Maria was a homemaker in every sense of the word. She loved to cook, especially meat sauce and soups, and take care of her family and friends. Maria will be remembered as a warm, giving, generous woman who always thought of others.
She was predeceased by her husband, Diego C. Indelicato in 2008. Maria is survived by her three loving sons, Mark Indelicato and his wife, Karen of Colts Neck, Greg Indelicato, and Anthony Indelicato and his wife, Cathy of Lincroft; and six adored grandchildren, Anthony, Nicole, Danielle, Samantha, Carolyn and Eric.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 8:15 AM for the procession to her 9:30 AM Funeral Mass at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson Township. Entombment will follow in Holmdel Cemetery & Mausoleum, Holmdel.
