Condolence: As an undergraduate in college, I was told that if you want or need something in education, you go to the secretaries or custodians. Joe's picture should have been on my college syllabus. He was exactly what my professors were talking about. My few years I spent with joe (teaching PE) at Shepard elementary were amazing. Joe was constantly on my case (feeding me stories like the "principal is on the way down to observe you" ,when he wasn't, leaving notes on my car, etc) but he encouraged as well. As a member of the friendly sons of shillelagh - I was excited each year to see and reminisce with joe at the parade. Together we both despised Chris Christie. I will miss him and I'm extremely sorry for your loss.
