Theresa Ann  Valerio
Theresa Valerio, 85, of Toms River, passed away at home on Friday, July 15, 2016, with her family by her side. She was born in Orange, then settled in Howell in 1957. Theresa graduated from Orange High School in 1949. She worked for 3M Union Carbide Corporation for over ten dedicated years as a Quality Control Inspector, retiring in 1996. Theresa was a member of the 3M Bowling League. She loved crocheting, sewing, and doll making. When Theresa wasn’t making arts and crafts, she was very fond of gardening, ceramics, bird watching, and solving puzzles. In her spare time, Theresa would often visit local flea markets and yard sales.
Theresa was predeceased by her husband, Angelo Valerio; and her two siblings Frank Grosso and Elizabeth DePasquale. She is survived by her children, Loretta Spangler of Toms River, Michele Szabo of Manchester, Cecelia Russo of Freehold, Virginia Fuller of Toms River, Michael Linke of Howell, Andrew Linke, and his wife Dee, of Howell, Paul Linke, and his wife Ruth of Jackson, James Linke of Howell, and Cynthia Stanley, and her husband John, of Howell; 27 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and one sister, Yolanda “June” Giordano of Livingston; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, July 22, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM with her funeral service beginning at 7:30 PM at the funeral home.
