Thomas  Korologos
Thomas Korologos, 85, of Freehold passed away at home on Friday, July 1, 2016. Born and raised in Perth Amboy, he lived in Belleville before moving to Freehold 10 years ago. A proud veteran of the Korean War, Thomas worked in the composing room at the Star Ledger for 40 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louie and Athena Korologos; step-mother, Florence Korologos; and two brothers, Peter and George Korologos. Thomas is survived by his wife, Angetta Korologos of Freehold; daughters, Athena Zorbas and her husband, Tom, and Patty Katsantonis and her husband, Bobby of Sikeston, MO; grandchildren; Angela Angeletopoulos and her husband, Jim, George Katsantonis, Anna Nikopoulos and her husband, Spiro, Tommy Katsantonis, Patty Fressizidis and her husband, Charlie, Roula Katsantonis and Eric Woodward; great-grandchildren, Bob, Mina, Tommy, Bobby, Athena, Sia and Nayia; and brothers, James Korologos and John Korologos.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 9:30 AM for procession to his 11:00 AM Funeral Mass at Kimisis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church, 20 Hillcrest Road, Holmdel.
