Livia C. Andl, 91, of Freehold passed away with her children by her side on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was born and raised in Newark and lived in Sayreville before moving to The Villages, and eventually settling at Brookside. She was a sales clerk with S.S. Kresge, Sayreville. Livia loved nothing more than taking care of her family. The only Italian who didn’t like garlic, she was the best homemaker and mother who enjoyed cooking, and feeding family and friends.
Livia was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Andl in 1989. She is survived by her daughter, Jaquie Onifer of Brick; her son, John Andl and his wife, Cynthia of Freehold Township; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, April 29, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. service to follow.
