Obituary for Robert James "Rob" Vigliotti
Robert James Vigliotti, 35, of Ocean passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2016. Rob was raised in Howell and settled in Ocean in 2013. A graduate of the Howell High School Class of 1999, Rob was co-captain of the football team and an all-shore player. He was also the President of Kean University Chapter of Nu Delta Pi. He was an Operations Manager for Planned Companies in Parsippany. Rob was a big teddy bear with a huge heart. A sensitive and compassionate man, he loved his wife and family more than anything.
Rob was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents. He is survived by his wife, best friend and soulmate, Caity Vigliotti and Mylie the cat; his parents, Josephine and Louis Vigliotti; siblings, Lou and Michele Vigliotti and Tina and Dan Ambrose; nieces, Sydnie and Madison Vigliotti, Gianna Ambrose and another niece on the way; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Kathy and Rich Bantel; and his grandmother-in-law, Gram.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, April 10, 2016 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 9:30 AM Funeral Mass on Monday, April 11, 2016 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson. Interment will be private. For those who desire, memorial contributions in Rob’s name may be made to the Mount Pleasant Animal Shelter, 194 Route 10, East Hanover, NJ 07936.
