Theresa Livia Fahr, 90, of Jackson Township, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Centrastate Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was born and had raised her family in Brooklyn before moving to Jackson in 1998. A real globe trotter, Theresa traveled to the Caribbean, Mexico, Canada and Europe. She loved boating, the beach, and especially her summers in Florida. Theresa is best known for her apple pie, mini cream cheese cupcakes and chocolate chip cookies, which she served while entertaining her friends and family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Paul T. Fahr in 1996. Theresa is survived by her children, Paul Fahr and his wife, Cecilia of North Seaford, NY, Peter Fahr and his wife, Luana of Howell, and Theresa Keevill and her husband, Gary of Manalapan; four granddaughters, Jennifer Mangino and her husband, Michael of Long Beach, NY, Lauren Keevill of Manalapan, Licia Keevill of Manalapan and Amber Fahr of Howell; two great-grandchildren, Michael Paul Mangino and Vivian Sofia Mangino; a brother, Arnold Panci and his wife, Maureen of Winter Haven, FL; an aunt, Terri Quinzi of The Villages, FL; nephews, William, Paul and Robert Fahr of Watervliet, NY; and great-grand niece and nephew, Will Fahr and Meg Fahr of Watervliet, NY.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Friday, March 11, 2016 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 9:00 AM for procession to her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Church, 91 Stillhouse Road, Millstone Township. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Fort Lauderdale, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Theresa’s name may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
