Obituary for Anna Zilinski (Hoernlein)
Anna Zilinski, 99, of Freehold passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Manor By The Sea, Ocean Grove. Anna was born in Newark and had lived in Holmdel before moving to Colts Neck. She worked in the lipstick department for Charles of the Ritz Manufacturing facility in Holmdel. Anna was a member of the ladies auxiliary of the North Centerville Fire Company in Hazlet. She and her husband, Alexander owned and operated Zilinski’s Poultry Farm in Holmdel until retiring in 1986.
Anna was predeceased by her husband Alexander W. Zilinski in 1993; a son, Russell Zilinski in March 2014; and a grandson, Dennis W. Zilinski in November 2005. She is survived by three sons, Alexander Zilinski and his wife, Alice of Cream Ridge, Bernard Zilinski and his fiancée, Irene of Morganville and Dennis Zilinski and his wife, Marion of Freehold; a daughter-in-law, Eleanor Zilinski of Colts Neck; fifteen grandchildren; thirty six great grandchildren; and seven great great grandchildren
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, August 28, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relative and friends are invited to attend her 10:00 AM funeral service on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the Middletown Reformed Church, 121 Kings Highway, Middletown. Entombment will follow in Holmdel Cemetery and Chapel Mausoleum, Holmdel. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Anna may be made to LT. Dennis W.
