Obituary for Charles J. Yakow Jr.

Charles J. Yakow, Jr., 70, of Howell Township passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at his home. Charles was born in West Long Branch and had lived in Red Bank before moving to the Crossroads at Howell. He was a maintenance worker at Christian Brothers Academy, Lincroft, retiring 23 years ago.
Charles was predeceased by his wife, Kathryn, and his parents, Charles and Dorothy (Southcott) Yakow. He is survived by two sons, Charles Yakow of New Jersey and Michael Yakow of Pennsylvania; three brothers, Richard and his wife Catherine of Vineland, William and his wife Virginia of Farmingdale, and Robert and his wife Donna of Orlando, Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, August 15, 2014 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with his funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM. Inurnment will be private. For those who desire, contributions in his memory may be made to Christian Brothers Academy, 850 Newman Springs Road Lincroft, NJ 07738.
