Obituary for James Brian Quigley

James Brian  Quigley
James Brian Quigley, 61, of Howell Township passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Brian was born in Paterson, raised in Wayne, had lived in Booton, Lake Hopatcong, and Brookfield, Connecticut before settling to Freehold/Howell area. He was a 1968 graduate of DePaul High School where he played football and ran track. Brian was an Eagle Scout. He graduated from Walsh College in 1972. Brian was a history buff with an interest in the Civil War.

He was predeceased by his father, James F. Quigley in 1983. Brian is survived by his son, Matthew Quigley of Jersey City; a daughter, Maureen Cervantes and her husband, Rogelio of Glendale, Arizona; his mother, Helen M. Quigley of Monroe; a brother, Tom Quigley of Monroe; two sisters, Maureen LaManna and her husband, Douglas of Hopewell Junction, New York and Eileen Brown and her husband Jeff of Plymouth, Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews.

A gathering will be at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 10:00 AM Memorial Mass on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township. Inurnment to follow in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery, Freehold. For those who desire, memorial contributions in memory of Brian may be made to the American Cancer Society, 801 Broad Street, Shrewsbury, NJ 07702.
